Fabula Facilis: Testudo et Iuppiter

Iuppiter nuptias celebrat.
Animalia omnia convivio excipit.
Sola testudo nimis sero adventat.
Iuppiter tarditatis causam ignorat.
Testudinem rogavit,
"Quam ob rem ad epulum tarde adventas,
non tempestive cum ceteris animalibus?"
Testudo respondet,
"Dilecta domus, optima domus."
Deus ira percitus est,
et testudinem damnat,
"O testudo,
domum
humeris circumferre debes!"
