Fabula Facilis: Platanus et Viatores

Aestatis tempore,
viatores nimio meridiani solis calore laborant.
Platanum vident et sub arborem confugiunt.
Sub arboris umbra se sternunt et recumbunt.
Ad arborem deinde convertunt oculos.
Inter se dicunt,
"Quam infructuosa haec arbor est,
et inutilis hominibus!”
Arbor respondet,
"O vos ingratos!
Meo beneficio adhuc fruentes,
inutilem infructuosamque me vocatis!"
