Fabula Facilis: Pastor et Lupi Catuli

Pastor lupi catulos reperit
et cura magna eos educat.
Pastor sic cogitat,
"Cum adolescunt et lupi fiunt,
meas oves custodire possunt,
et alias oves rapientes,
praeda mihi deferre possunt."
Catuli citissime adulti fiunt
et, ad omnem occasionem,
oves domini sui devorant!
Quapropter ingemit et dicit,
"Merito lupi me miserum affligunt!
Quamobrem iuvenculos servavi,
quos adultos necare oportet?"

This story is based on 842. Pastor et Lupi Catuli.
