Fabula Facilis: Catus et Gallus

Catus gallum capit,
et criminare incipit.
"Tu es animal turbulentum!
Noctu clamitas,
et homines quiescere non permittis."
Gallus se excusat.
"Hoc ago ad hominum voluptatem;
illos excito ad opera facienda."
Rursum catus dicit:
"Impius es!
Nec a matre nec a sororibus
te abstines,
sed per incontinentiam
illis te commisces."
Gallus se defendit.
"Ex huiusmodi coitu,
gallinae pariunt ova."
Tunc dicit catus,
"Quamvis
excusationibus abundes,
ego tamen
te demittere non intendo.”
