Fabula Facilis: Delphinus et Pisciculus

Delphinus pisciculum persequitur,
eum captare volens.
Pisciculus, delphinum vitans,
ex aquis exsilit et ad rupem confugit.
Delphinus violento impetu eum sequitur,
et arenis illidit et haeret!
Sic extra maris aquas,
delphinus mox morti succumbit.
Pisciculus, in rupe haerens,
quoque moritur, sed,
inimicum mortuum prae oculis videns,
sibi paululum consolatus est et dicit,
"Dulcior mihi mea mors futura est:
ecce auctor meae mortis ipse moribundus!"
