Fabula Facilis: Equus, Lupus, et Hordeum

Lupus per arvum errat.
Forte, hordei copiam reperit,
sed hordeum lupi non comedunt.
Cibum ergo inutile relinquit,
et discedit.
Equo tunc obviam factus est.
Lupus equo dicit,
"Ad arvum subito veni, amice!
In arvo hordeum reperies.
Illud non comedi,
sed tibi reservavi,
quod dentium equi strepitus
valde mihi placet."
Equus sic respondet,
"Heus tu!
Si hordeo vesci posses, lupe,
aures haud praeposuisses ventri."
