Fabula Facilis: Sus Parturiens et Lupus

Sus puerpera est.
Nunc parturit!
Lupus pollicetur,
"Fetorum tuorum custos ero!"
Sus parturiens respondet,
"Obsequio tuo non egeo.
Si vis tu pius haberi, longius abi!"
Lupi benevolentia constat
non praesentia,
sed absentia.
Fabula docet:
Multi sunt,
qui suam operam pollicentur
non tui amore, sed sui;
suum quaerunt commodum,
non tuum.
