Hircus quidam servus est asini.
Hircus sic cogitat,
"Dominus meus simplex est,
et humilis."
Ascendit ergo asinum,
volens equitare.
Sed asinus iratus est:
pedes anteriores erigit,
et retro cadit super dorsum suum;
hircum sic opprimit et interficit.
Fabula docet:
Si asinus est dominus tuus,
ne equites ipsum.
